Every setup starts the same way: something to grind with and something to work over. Get those two right and everything after is a preference. Get them wrong and you spend a year replacing a plastic grinder and wiping down a table.

Using It
- Work over the tray, not beside it. The walls only help if everything happens inside them.
- Fill the grinder to the middle of the teeth. Never above — overfilling is why any grinder starts to feel stiff.
- Turn back and forth rather than forcing one way. Two or three turns is enough at 50 mm.
- Use the scraper on the pollen screen. That chamber fills slowly and is easy to forget about — which is exactly why it is worth checking.
- Tip the tray to pour. The curved edge is shaped for it.
