Stop Guessing
Every other tool in this collection changes the shape of something. This one tells you the truth about it. A scale is the only object here that settles an argument — how much is actually there, to a hundredth of a gram, with no opinion involved.
It reads to 0.01 g in the 500 g version and 0.1 g in the 1000 g version, on a green backlit LCD you can read in a dim room. Tare to zero against any container, then weigh what goes in it. Seven units, a protective flip lid, and a body small enough to live in a jacket pocket.
It runs on two AAA batteries, and they are not in the box. We would rather you knew that now than discover it on the doorstep — grab a pair before it arrives and you will be weighing within about ten seconds of opening it.
Why It Works
Down To 0.01 g
The 500 g version reads to a hundredth of a gram from 0.03 g upward. The 1000 g version trades that fineness for twice the capacity.
Backlit, Not Guessed At
A green backlit LCD stays readable in low light — which is where most people actually use one of these.
Tare To Zero
Put your container on first, press zero, and the scale forgets it exists. You measure what you added, not what it is sitting in.
Seven Units

Why It Earns Its Place
- It answers the question nothing else here can. Every other tool changes something; this one measures it.
- Two versions, two jobs. Fine detail at 0.01 g, or twice the capacity at 0.1 g — pick the one that matches what you weigh.
- It fits in a pocket. Flip lid closed, it is smaller than a phone and protected from whatever else is in there.
- The lid is the tray. Flip it open and you have a surface to weigh on that is not your desk.

Using It
- Fit two AAA batteries first. They are not supplied — have a pair ready.
- Set it on something flat and hard. A soft or sloping surface is the most common reason a scale reads oddly.
- Put your container on, then press zero. The display returns to 0.00 and the container stops counting.
- Add what you are weighing and let it settle. Give it a second — the last digit stabilises after the first.
- Close the lid when you are done. It protects the platform, which is the part that decides how long the scale stays accurate.

Which version should I get — 0.01 g or 0.1 g?
The 0.01 g / 500 g is the precise one: it resolves a hundredth of a gram but stops at 500 g. The 0.1 g / 1000 g is the roomy one: twice the capacity, a tenth of a gram. If you weigh small amounts and want detail, take the first. If you weigh larger amounts, take the second. You cannot have both in one scale.
Are batteries included?
No — it takes two AAA cells and they are not in the box. Worth ordering a pack alongside it so the first thing you do is weigh something rather than hunt through a drawer.
What is the smallest thing it can weigh?
0.03 g on the 500 g version, 0.3 g on the 1000 g version. Below that the sensor cannot give you a reading it trusts, so it will not pretend to.
