Four Layers. Just Like The Real Thing.
A burger is a stack. Bun, patty, cheese, bun — four layers, each one doing its own job, and the whole thing only works because they are in the right order. The Stack is a four-chamber grinder that happens to be built exactly the same way, and looks exactly like it too.
Top bun lifts off. Grind in the layer beneath it. What you grind drops into the next chamber down. The fine material filters through into the base. Four layers, four jobs, in order — and when you close it, it goes back to being a sesame-topped burger sitting on your desk.
It is 175 grams of solid metal, which is the part people are not expecting. You see something cute and pick it up assuming it will be light, and it is emphatically not. That gap between how it looks and how it feels is the whole charm of the thing.
Why It Works
The Layers Are The Joke
Bun, patty, cheese, bun — and each one is a working chamber. The design is not a shell around a grinder; the burger is the mechanism.
Heavier Than It Looks
175 grams of solid metal. Everyone who picks it up expecting a plastic novelty gets the same surprised reaction, every single time.
Mesh Filter Inside
A screen between the lower chambers separates the fine material on its own. What every cheaper grinder loses to the teeth, this one keeps.
Nothing To Charge
Fully manual. No motor, no battery, no part that fails in eighteen months. Turn it and it works.
Why It Earns Its Place
- It is the one people ask about. Nobody leaves a normal grinder on the table. This one gets picked up.
- Four chambers, not two. Grind, collect, filter, store — the fine material ends up in its own space instead of stuck in the teeth.
- Solid metal at 175 g. The heaviest piece we sell, and it feels like equipment rather than a toy.
- It is a genuinely good gift. Funny enough to raise a laugh, well made enough to actually get used.
- Storage is built in. The bottom layer means you do not need a separate jar for what you are keeping.
- Strips down completely. Four layers, all separating by hand for a proper clean.
Most novelty grinders are a joke with a bad mechanism hidden inside. The Stack is the opposite — a genuinely good four-chamber grinder that happens to be shaped like lunch.

Using It
- Lift the top bun off. Fill the chamber to the middle of the teeth, never above them.
- Close it and turn back and forth about ten times. Rocking beats forcing one direction.
- Turn it over and rock it again. This clears whatever is still sitting in the teeth.
- Unscrew the lower layers. Everything has already separated itself by the time you get there.
Questions People Ask
Is it actually metal, or a painted plastic novelty?
Solid metal, 175 g. It is the heaviest item in our range — most people are surprised by the weight the first time they pick it up.
What is the fourth chamber for?
Storage. One grinds, the next collects, the mesh filters into the third, and the base holds what you are keeping for later — so there is no separate jar to carry.
Does the burger shape actually work, or is it awkward to turn?
The wide, flat profile is genuinely easier to grip than a tall cylinder. At 65 mm across there is plenty to hold on to.
Is it too heavy to carry around?
At 175 g it is built for a desk or a bag rather than a jacket pocket. For pocket carry, look at The Biscuit or The Capsule.
